I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company - Duce Construction. From the initial phone call to the completion of the project I had nothing but positive experiences with everyone that I dealt with. The project coordinator - Susan was fantastic to work with. The decision to hire Duce Construction Company was the best decision ever. A Spanish-only speaking crew came to my house to install a new section of fence. I pointed out that a post was not level and they appeared to not understand. Sure enough, the install now looks really bad as the fence is visibly not straight. I also found places where Duce used "filler wood" to make everything fit, like a sloppy jigsaw puzzle. My calls for a repair were always deflected/ignored and a family friend in the construction industry had to fix the fence. After Duce has your money, they don't want to hear from you.
Duce does not stand by its "5 year" warranty. When our fence had issues after 5 months, Duce refused to even look at the fence until we threatened legal action. After they came and suggested a small fix, they ghosted me when it came time to schedule---apparently not wanting to take on a small job. Emails to Duce went unreturned. We went with a real fence company to repair our fence. Avoid Duce at all costs.
We highly recommend Duce Construction Deck and Fence. Susan Duce helped us design a layout that would work perfectly with our landscape. We chose redwood for most of the fence and metal within 5 feet of our home. Thanks to Kayla as well for coordinating the installation. The skilled crew completed the job by noon, and the price was very reasonable compared to a few other bids. Well worth it!
