Great Food, Fun Nightlife – Comfortably dimly lit, our entry into the dining room was a tantalising prequel to an amazing evening. We started with the cheese plate, excellent selections and a great wine list to boot. Great Beer Selection – I went there once and would definitely go back if I find myself in the neighborhood. They have a fantastic beer selection on draft and by the bottle. The funny thing is that they detail alcohol content of the beers on their chalkboards. So, whether you are there to taste the beer or have other motives, it works out! Irish Pub Gets Trendy – Even a classic Irish pub is trendy in the meat-packing district. Correction, the Irish pub is classic but its patrons were trendy. Went for a quick drink on a Sat. night. The place was packed but in a good way. A good place to grab a drink being heading somewhere else. Or, a good place to nurse your beer and talk to buddies all night long.
Awesome salad – This is my new favorite neighborhood bar. My fiance lives down the street and we go there all the time. It's always a nice, friendly vibe and a great place to grab a low key dinner. They have an awesome salad with apples and walnuts. And on a nice day they open up the front of the bar to the street so you can people watch. The only bad thing was they didn't make my favorite drink (Malibu Bay Breeze) so well.
great mellow vibe – One of my favorite places to go on a chilly night. The crowd that comes in is friendly and easy-going. The Guinness beef stew is good, the fish-n-chips are great.
