Dr. Duarte was my anesthesiologist for an ankle surgery that I had when I was 8 months pregnant. Instead of just putting me under general anesthesia (which I was prepared to do and told by my obgyn would be OK but was hoping would not be needed) he took the time to discuss options with me and we settled on a different plan with nerve blocks that would limit the impact on my baby as much as possible. Dr Duarte was my anesthesiologist for an emergency surgery that I was really nervous about. He explained to me what was going to happen and made me feel extremely comfortable. I felt completely safe in his hands and care. I had no problems following the surgery, no nausea or pain whatsoever. I’m so thankful for his care.
The worst day of my life. Dr. Duarte What's the anesthesiologist in a surgery for my sweet 78 year old mother. He inserted an endotracheal tube in her throat. Sadly, by doing this. She can no longer swallow and has an NG tube through her nose.....She simply went in for hip surger is now not even functioning and doesn't want to live. This is the most horrific experience we have ever been through and we ask God for a miracle.
