DSL IS AWESOME. They really do speak dog. Our pooches have been trained, boarded and enjoyed daycare there for a long time. The staff is attentive, thorough and friendly. Their new facility allows for all-weather doggie fun and frolic which our pooch adores. It feels great to see her tail wagging like crazy when I drop her off at daycare. I highly recommend Alfredo and his team . As a veterinarian who has worked with Alfredo and his clients, I have seen many success stories. Many times he has taken dogs with difficult behavioral issues and transformed them into well adjusted members of the family. I recently sent a puppy we adopted on a whim to Alfredo for bootcamp. I love bringing my dog to DSL! Alfredo did a great job with one on one training, really working with my pup and me to understand each other. My dog has a lot of anxiety issues but after just one session with Alfredo, he was excited to be there and ready to play and learn. The daycare and boarding at DSL have been a great way to work on those issues, too. Alfredo took on our young, excitable and willful pup and turned her into a well-behaved, much calmer dog. We were not sure that the three-week boot camp would even work but she is now as close to perfect as we need her to be. The difference is astonishing and we are so grateful. Thanks, Alfredo!
RC is my young Cocker Spaniel who is full of energy and likes to create mischief by stealing things and running when you try to retrieve. He also jumps all over people and rushes out any open door, without permission. 3 weeks at DSL boot camp and he does not touch anything that is not his, sits at an open door and waits for instructions, sits in front of people or stays in his place when told to go there. DSL is the best. We have a special rescue dog that we needed to board. They have been great with him and he has become so much better since he goes there and plays with the other dogs. The fact that DSL sends updated text messages as well as post pictures of all the pups on their facebook page is great to see while we are away. My other dogs love being there too. I have been taking my two dogs to DSL for boarding for over a year now. They are the best! My dogs always come home happy!
Customer service is great, but more importantly, our dogs LOVE going there. We have utilized both daycare and boarding and know that our dogs are cared for and loved. I also enjoy the Facebook pictures posted daily, where we can see the fun they have there. DSL was recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad she did.
We highly recommend DSL. They take excellent care of our 2 pups, respond quickly to questions, and post 100's of pics every day so you can see your pet interacting. Our 9-month old boxer/lab has had a few training sessions with Alfredo (the real dog whisperer) and the changes in Ranger were amazing! All of the staff really do speak dog as their second language!
