My house had started leaking before this, so I contacted D&S Roofing, the company that did my roofing a few years ago. They responded promptly to my call and sent a repairman to inspect it. They concluded that the vent cover was cracked around the edge. They applied waterproof sealant around the area to prevent rainwater from seeping in and explained that it was due to long-term aging. As mentioned in the feedback posted on June 14, 2026, we were not expecting anything other than another denial and the same response you have provided to other customers—accusing them of being dishonest rather than addressing the issue. I am attaching the contract here, which clearly shows that the work was completed in 2021, five years ago, not nine years ago. In fact, I was not even living in this house nine years ago. Two weeks ago, during a heavy downpour, a massive leak appeared underneath my skylight. I contacted the roofing company that had replaced my roof 7 years ago. The supervisor, Hugh Wood, answered my call and immediately escalated the issue to their maintenance department. They came out to my house that very afternoon to inspect the leak. Sadly, and interestingly, it seems this neglectful behavior from Hugh and his company, D&S Roofing, and their refusal to honor their warranty, is not limited to my case. It was my mistake not to read the reviews before hiring D&S Roofing. I simply saw that they were working in our neighborhood and asked them to replace our shingles. We selected their top-tier package, including the warranty, to avoid headaches for years to come. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsibility, accountability, and professionalism shown by D&S Roofing regarding ongoing issues with my shed roof leaking water after their work was completed. I have documented multiple text messages back and forth with Hugh, regarding this issue, only to repeatedly be told that “nothing can be done because it’s a flat roof.” This excuse is completely unacceptable.
