Our family has been a part of the San Jose community since the 1970s, and we have always made it a point to support and uplift local businesses. We chose The Drying Shed for my grandmother’s funeral reception precisely because we wanted to keep it local and trusted that a family-run establishment would treat us with the care that comes with that shared community connection. By far one of the absolute best dining experiences on this side of town. From the moment the food hit the table, you could immediately tell everything was made with quality and care. One thing that really stood out to me was the salad — perfectly fresh and extremely cold, exactly how a salad should be. Nothing ruins a salad faster than it being warm, and this one was crisp, refreshing, and loaded with flavor. The food was good,but the service lacked. Had to flag down a watier every time for anything. Also ran our bill twice the amount and waited awhile for that to be corrected.
