I’ve been to Drybar in Los Gatos several times and this was honestly the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience, which is why this was so disappointing for me. I booked my appointment ahead of time and noted that I have hair extensions. When I arrived, the stylist who washed my hair was very kind and gentle. Had an excellent blowout with phoebe. She was detailed oriented and tailored the style and product to my preferences. Overall the location is very clean and bright, I would definitely come again.
I’ve been getting my hair done weekly for years, so I have a very high bar for stylists. Harish, I hope that I have spelled his name correctly. He is, quite simply, in a league of his own. His technical skill is matched only by his incredible attention to detail. From the relaxing hair wash at the start to the precision of the final look, he ensures the style isn't just beautiful, but built to last. He is a true professional.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon. I went in for an up-do for a major event, and the stylist immediately told me my hair was too thin to do what I wanted. She then had to look up hairstyle ideas online which did not inspire confidence! The entire service took about six minutes, and the result looked extremely rushed and poorly done. I must admit that it is a nice place and it looks very clean, but I really didn't have a good experience with my hair, it's very frustrating, but they should add that they only know how to work with straight hair.
