I had a really great experience at this Dry Bar! I showed them photos of the dry blowout with volume I wanted and she delivered even better than expected! It took about a little over an hour. They made the experience very easy, welcoming, and luxurious. They were able to book me in last minute as well, which I appreciate. I highly recommend Dry Bar, especially this location, to everyone!

Are any other black girls or ethnic textured hair people being told that they have to pay for 2 blowout prices for an extended blowout? The base charge times two basically to get your hair done?

Very disappointing experience at Drybar Bakersfield. I booked a dry styling appointment and washed and dried my hair at home beforehand. My hair was about 90% dry, with only a small area needing a quick touch-up that would have taken less than a minute to dry. The stylist told me I would have to pay the full blowout price—an extra $25—because my hair was not completely dry. I've been to this location three times now and what I love most is the consistency. It's super easy to book an appointment online and I've gotten a different stylist every time but my hair consistently comes out looking and smelling amazing.
