In May 2023 we hired Dry Otter to encapsulate our crawl space, install a French drain, sump pump and a dehumidification system as we almost always had standing water under the house.We were very, very impressed with both the quality of work that ****************** and ******* provided but also with the customer service that was provided immediately after when we experienced an issue.The morning after they finished the work we awoke to no hot water and no air conditioning. We just had our crawlspace encapsulation done by DryOtter. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Before we began work my wife and I collected six estimates. It may seem like overkill but two of the estimates varied significantly from the others so we wanted to be sure, its a lot of money. One very well known company here in the Carolinas estimate was three times everyone elses. Three times! For the exact same work. One was $6,000 less than the average. My basement had been leaking for years, and I had to pump it out regularly. Recently we had a big storm, and it leaked worse than it ever had. I was standing in inches of water and finally decided I was tired of the panic-pumping during storms. I got some estimates, but Dry Otter came in with the best bang for my buck.
