My daughter was seen in April for black spots on her scalp. Dr Holt mis-diagnosed her with lice after scraping her scalp and looking under a microscope. After educating myself after the appt I learned that 1) you do no need a microscope to see lice 2) Lice live in the hair and not the scalp. This mis-diagnoses created a ripple effect of chaos with daycare and other daycare parents. Not at all impressed. Came to see Dr. Holt as my previous Derm was on leave. Routine skin check up since it had been over 5 years since my last visit (of which we found skin concerns). She seemed completely bothered and uninterested in helping me since I didn't KNOW of any trouble spots/concerns. She looked me over for 15 seconds and told me I was fine and left the room. I was literally with her for maybe 5 minutes. When people say she's "efficient" they're not lying. Problem is she's also not thorough.
Dr. Holt is a fabulous dermatologist! I have been her patient for over a decade, and have referred my family and friends to her, all with great satisfaction. She is thorough, professional, and very kind. She even had her nurse call to follow up on a treatment plan. Wonderful!
Dr. Holt was extremely helpful and listen closely to my concerns. She is knowledgeable and gives information about my condition in a kind manner. I would recommend Dr. Holt to all my friends and family.
