Very knowledgeable on the foot. Took the time to listen to the issues and explain them to me. He was caring and listened to my concerns. His manner was great. He took great care of me and took care of my foot problem. I would highly recommend Dr Shields.
First visit with Dr Shields and was very impressed with both him & his friendly staff! Nurse Tina was great! Dr. Shields took care of some issues right away and now we have a game plan! Happy Feet soon to be!! He even put up with our 'corny' jokes!!

I have had four separate procedures done on my feet by Dr. Shields. Each time he did a thorough exam, explained the procedure well, answering any of my questions, and performed the procedure in a manner which gave me excellent results. The doctor and his staff are friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to see Dr. Shields for any future foot problems (although I hope there will be no need).

I waited waaaay too long to have my ingrown nails taken care of. If I had know how easy it would be I would have done it sooner. Dr. Shields and his staff are great. They were very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and kind, Dr. Shields and his staff have joyous outlooks that makes every visit a pleasant experience. I have recommended Dr. Shields to everyone who mentions they need a foot Doctor.

Was sold a sleep brace do over $300, found identical one made by Ace sold on jet.com for $25. Dropped $435 out of pocket on visit and got zero relief for my heel pain. Won't be back.
I have used Dr.Shields twice now. They have been very nice and great to use. Very knowledgeable and explains things so you understand. I would highly recommend them even if you have been seen at another place for a second look.
Very good care before and after surgery. All the staff is very helpful and respectful. If I have to have any thing else done to my feet, I will return there for treatment.
