RecommendedQuiet beachfront property in Islamorada near many restaurants. Clean rooms, pool and full kitchen. Wouldn’t recommend for swimming.
Drop Anchor is a hidden gem!! Great rooms, affordable prices, great location! The views are spectacular. Grab a kayak and head out to the sand bar or just hang at the pool and take in the beauty of it all!!

Leider Familienzimmer ohne 2 Schlafräume sondern nur mit Schlafsofa und mit winzigem Bad. Für Familien mit 2 älteren Kindern unmöglich.
Very friendly & accommodating
Checked in 2/6. First we were supposed to have a king oceanfront 1 bedroom suite but was given Room 12 with no view and it was a total dump and needs major work. Room 12 should not even be rented out. Expedia moved us the room was so bad. Black mold in the air conditioners and on the kitchen wall. Futon was broke. Furniture was in awful shape. Refrigerator was rusted and disgusting as was the stove. Management could have cared less and stated that you can’t trust the internet, really?
Amazing little resort! Clean, cute, and quiet. Friendly staff. Location is convenient to exploring all the keys have to see. Relaxing! Pool and grounds are perfect.

We stumbled upon Drop Anchor in summer of 2019 on a trip to the keys...from trip advisor recommendation. Planned to stay for one night. Ended up staying for 2 and now going back for a week in February for a birthday celebration. Zach is amazing with his recommendations and making you feel so welcome. Henry helped us with kayaking and I was so nervous because I had never done. We have planned our February vacation around Drop Anchor. You will not be disappointed!
