RecommendedBeautiful waterfront place.
Really laid back atmosphere. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Some of which lead right out to the sand. Boat dock friendly. Reasonably priced. I added an extra day to my stay. And if my mom didnt need groceries id stay another day. I will come back again. Call direct to reserve if you want to make sure to get a room with beach access. Its ocean side so the breeze is amazing even in the August heat. Come on down.

Superb service and all staff is so personable and fiendly. Extremely clean rooms and view is spectacular. Love this place!
We are visiting during an uncertain time but Drop Anchor Resort is very small and quaint. Because of it's small size our beach area with shade seating areas was never busy and we were never close to anyone while on it. The same for the pool. The ocean view from the beach and pool is so beautiful and serene. It's fun to see the boats way out at the sandbar from the beach. After several years we decided to return to a fond memory. The place is the same, but so much better. Still the small hotel old Florida feel, but everything is updated and upgraded. New ownership has put a polish on this hidden gem. You cant beat the ocean view from the well maintained grounds and decks. Our room was spotless with a comfy bed. Hidden gem that is a slice of Paradise! Spent 65th birthday week celebrating at the Resort. Rooms, pool and grounds are very clean. Zac (I'll call him the concierge) was so helpful on places to go and restaurants. We loved his dog Sadie, even though she took our coconut from our deck! Everyone was friendly and I felt so safe at this location. Met new friends and headed back next year for a reunion.
