Our experience renting from this landlord turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. After we moved out, we requested the standard itemized breakdown of deductions from our security deposit — a legal requirement in California. Despite multiple follow-ups, we were never provided receipts, invoices, or any documentation, especially for repairs that were supposedly done.
