Crooks! They charged us money to have someone come out to look ant our fireplace. No big deal. They needed to order a part and the consulting fee was supposed to go toward the service. They made us pay again for them to install the part. We agreed because we had paid for the part and just wanted the fire place to be fixed. Do not trust these criminals!! I paid $2500 for a fire insert in January 2025 and was told it would take 6 weeks. I have not heard a word since I placed my order. I reached out over email, and multiple phone calls and receive no response. I then looked at reviews and I see that other clients have not received their fireplaces and cannot contact the store! This is theft!!!!
This company rip us off. We prepaid for fireplace and they never delivered and now are out of business. Stay away !!!!!
This is the most unprofessional company to deal with. Office is closed, emails are not answered, phone goes to voicemail. Waited on parts since September, they showed up in March to make the repairs and did not order all of the right parts. Now they are holding the parts we already paid for ($1,600.00) and we cannot get in contact for a refund or just our parts.
Dreifuss Fireplaces is unresponsive, unethical and criminal establishment. I am another victim of this dishonest company. I was placing an order for a fireplace insert and gave them a $2,500 deposit in January 2025. They never ordered the unit, delayed my project and are not responding to my request to refund my money. Kevin Hysick, Richard Strain and Caren Barsotti-Jenkins are all unresponsive and deceitful. As of today, the phones are on disconnected and no-one is in the office.
