If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a new gas replacement fireplace in October. They came in January and installed. Was told by the installer that the fireplace does not come with a remote or a cover (attached photo, wires everywhere) for the controller. Reached out to the manufacturer and was told that they absolutely do. So we were basically lied to. I put down a 50% deposit (was informed I had to pay by check) on 11/25/2024 for a wood-burning stove insert. I was told it would be delivered in 4-8 weeks. It is 3/11/2025 (almost FOUR MONTHS since my deposit) and there is no stove in sight. I have tried calling many times for updates. Most of the time, no one answers the phone. Had an awesome experience with Dreifuss! They’re family oriented & Veteran owned which is always a plus. But very small, so things might take a little longer then most, but it’s totally worth it. The people there are super friendly, honest, and really care about making sure you’re happy. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure everything was done right. Terrible customer experience. Paid a 60% deposit on a job in Dec 2024. As of this review, I have not been contacted by anyone regarding my project. The owner is elusive and does not return calls. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.
PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS NIGHTMARE. This business took a $4,607.71 deposit from me 90 days ago for a 28 to 42 day lead time item. It does not matter how many times I call, I have not once received a return phone call since providing my payment. The phone mostly rings to no answer. The couple times I have reached someone I was told the manufacturer is having substantial delays and they cannot get any update from them - I received feedback from the manufacturer within 24 hours saying my experience with this... read more
