We were really considering building a house in Markland with Dream Finders Homes. We loved the lot sizes and the Montauk II plan. The reason we decided not to build with them was the nonrefundable fees they wanted to charge us to make changes to their floor plan. No other builder charges fees for prices on custom changes. I was not about to build a new house in the $500k+ range and just throw extra money out of the door for answers. They want to lock you into a contract and have you wait 6-8 weeks for the prices, and if the ... read more
