For the first time since I was 16 years old (22 years ago and the time of my initial injury to my low back) I can honestly rate my pain 1/10. I got the staples removed today and the surgeon says I’m doing great. I’m still on no bending, lifting, or twisting restrictions but I can walk without shooting pain in my back and leg, and I honestly feel good. Dr Tomes is a great neurosurgeon!! I have been fighting neck pain for 2 years. I have had all kinds of treatment procedures to my neck. I was referred to Dr Tomes. He was so very nice and within 3 weeks he did surgery. Being 7 days from surgery and my life has improved so much. His office staff very nice. Surgical center was awesome. My only issue with surgical staff was the discharge nurse. She was a tall blonde and the way she talked to me was so condescending and made me cry. I don't like her she needs fired!!
