We just moved into our new DRB home in Summerwind Crossing. We've been here 6 weeks and we absolutely love our home and neighborhood. The quality of construction is far and above what we've seen with other home builders. Example, most new homes these days are built with 2 x 4 construction on the exterior walls. Not DRB. 2 x 6 construction on the exterior walls. Not only does that strengthen the entire integrity of the home, but it also allows for much thicker insulation in the walls. I have to say Nick who is in charge over here at Boykin Run has been very nice and helpful! I am not happy with the work done in this house as far as painters, sheet rock guys! I have been here 2 months drywall is cracking, nails popping through, ect!! Now a electrical problem that burnt out my $500 brand new vacuum cleaner cord!! HOA is another problem here! There should be posted signs near the pond behind our townhouses about the gators!! If I would have know about them I would have not moved here just to close for comfor... read more
We just purchased a DRB home a few weeks ago! The process was extremely easy from start to finish and the build was quality- to finish. The sales team (Recess Pointe in South Carolina) members were/are very attentive regardless who was assisting- shout out to Laura and Sarah for that. This was not our first, second, third, or even fifth rodeo- so we know how great or bad this experience can be… thanks for making it great DRB!!!
