Everyone complains about the property management.
I have lived here for 2 years and they recently raised steam prices by 400% without informing residents. Do not come here. Hidden fees to make the prices the same as better apartments in the area except the building has multiple city violations unchecked for years. Plus, the place is old and run down with multiple infestations Edit: since management is gaslighting me about infestations here is a picture of a roach that just spawned in my apartment (apparently) Additionally, similar apartments in the block offers a FLAT UTILI... read more
I lived in the Drake for one year. Within the first week I had a major pipe leak in bathroom and window that broke in middle of night. By summer the roaches came in, no longer how clean I kept my apartment. I lived near the trash chute (more like laundry chute) that was constantly clogged or open and people would leave their trash in the hallways. By winter, I had a mouse that would come in and poop on my fridge and all over my pans. I tried traps and nothing was successful. The heat and water shutoffs were also inconsistent... read more

Roaches, a busted trash chute, uppity front door staff. Beware. Edit: don’t expect the general manager to do anything either. Crystal has harassed me and, while I appreciate it to some extent, only stands up for the staff - not the tenants - while also threatening ambiguous fines. Broken heat, leaking radiators. Again, renter beware. I’d love to say you get what you pay for but not at all in this case.
