So glad I found Dr Drakakis 5+ years ago to handle my care post transplant. He is very easy to talk with and always makes time for you. Would recommend to others in a heartbeat.
My son has been a patient of Dr Drakakis’ for the last several years. It’s always been a good experience. He’s thorough, informative and is a genuinely kind person. My son is now an adult and goes to drs mostly in NYC where he lives but makes the trip out to LI to see Dr Drakakis. You don’t get many drs like him even in Manhattan.
AMAZING doctor!! Dr. Drakakis is kind and extremely patient. He takes his time explaining everything in layman's terms. He is funny and very pleasant. I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Dr. Drakakis. He is well respected and praised by his colleagues. His staff is also courteous and extremely professional. I would totally recommend Dr. Drakikis and this practice.

The visit was a great experience. The staff and the doctor were very professional and punctual. James was very detailed and explained every single issue at length, to the point that I was comfortable with the prognosis when I left. He even went above and beyond and gave me advice on how to approach other areas of my health, unrelated to his specialty. This is something you don't find easily in today's medical field. He is definitely one of the best doctors around.

Dr. James Drakakis has been my doctor for several years now. When I first went to him I was in pretty bad shape. He saved my life and you could not ask for a better, caring person. My health has improved greatly due to his help. He's the best doctor I've even been to.
