Dr. Elias is knowledgeable, thorough, attentive, perceptive and does not leave anything to chance. He sees the things that other doctors miss. He communicates well with his patients. He is the Doctors' Doctor - and has for good reason earned his stellar reputation.
Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Elias has led to a significant loss of confidence. I waited for one hour, only for him to enter the examination room briefly to inform me that he needed to perform emergency heart surgery. He declared that my visit was complete and left the room within a minute.I found Dr. Elias to be more concerned with financial gain than patient care. His interactions suggested a lack of genuine medical knowledge and bedside manners, which calls his credentials and expertise into question.Based on my ... read more
Excellent doctor, he saved my dad 4x from a heart attack. He is very knowledgeable and his experience is exceptional. I would trust my family and my life to him. He is very straight forward and honest.
Rude. Appointment for my mother was rushed. She asked questions and he barely answered them. Sat there waiting and saw people walk in and out within 5 minutes. Doesn's spend quality time with patients. My mother was very upset at the way she was rushed and not listened to and acted like he didn't care about her issues. This is very upsetting that this is how patients are treated. Wasted time.
Treated and installed Stent, and 2 angioplasties.
Dr. Zouheir lied to me about the results of an Echo Stress Test, saying it was "an abnormal stress echo response to exercise demonstrating significant dysfunction of the septum and anterior wall suggestive of disease in the territory of the left anterior descending artery". In my visit, he urged a catheter angiogram with a-priori approval of stent insertion. He repeatedly said I had "significant dysfunction" and "over 73% occlusion in my anterior descending artery"; I was "a walking time bomb". I left his office convinced I ... read more
I made an appointment with Dr. Elias 6 months ago. Last week I got an email asking me to confirm the appointment. Today, while I was on the bus to that appointment I got a call cancelling the appointment because my insurance want covered... The same insurance I had six months ago. Wasted time, lost wages, and now have to find a new cardiologist.
Dr Elias has always been straight with medical insight. I always feel he gives me the full story and an honest assessment. Good man.
