Trustworthy and knowledgeable. Listens to my mom and spends ample time with her. Conservative approach to medication. Office staff and nurses are amazing! Office has a social worker from Alzheimer’s Assn available to meet with families for free, which is a great resource.
My wife's PD has not been treated with adequate professionalism by Dr. Ahmed. He prescribed her higher dosage of main med without seeing her when she complained that the off period was coming sooner. He failed to prescribe Gabapentin when she needed it for leg pain. She has not been the same since then (which was May of 2020) Overall, I am inclined to get a satisfactory explanation of this type of practice in St. Luke's. Dr. Ahmed is very caring and listens attentively to my comments and tracks my progress. He helps me with coming up with a treatment plan and is interested in my wellbeing. Great doctor!
Terrible. Showed little interest in the patient and only did the minimal amount of testing. Definitely not an advocate for the patient
So caring and listens intently. Great bedside manner along with his skills. I went a year undiagnosed by 3 other neurons but he figured it out in 15 minutes. Great Doctor!!
Dr Ahmed is a patient, attentive physician who takes the time to do a good medical history and exam. Highly recommended.
