We only saw him once, he seems like a good doctor but a doctor can only be so good if the staff is terrible Front desk nice ladies, nurse in the back and his assistant Stephanie not so good. We saw the Doctor on April 21 2025. The Doctor want my husband to have a test done at a hospital only places do this test A week in half goes by I called to see who contacted us the doctors office or the hospital First response was hmm “I really don’t know” Called a week later “ I think they would contact us” Called a again ok the “the o... read more

I am actually a Dr. and had to go to ER at St Lukes for a neuro issue. ER staff were great. Did not get to a room until about 2AM. No neuro MD saw me the whole time. Wish I had checked myself out and gone to a REAL hospital ER. However I thought I was having a stroke and knew that in these cases getting medical attention ASAP is critical. Got to my room and waited for almost 2 hrs before the brought only some of my meds. Ahmed apparently has “bankers” hours as he did not show up until 11 AM the next day. Spoke for about 8-10... read more

We had our first meeting with Dr Ahmed on Christmas Day when my husband was admitted on Christmas Eve with seizures. He made us feel so comfortable and explained to us so we understood everything on my husband’s condition. We were not Rushed with his visit. When we left the hospital we were given a prescription to get a EEG. I went to his office and the receptionist was fantastic in helping me. She went and got the Doctors assistant and she told me what office to go to and set up the test. After the test I went back to the o... read more

He seems to be a good doctor however he needs more staff! Every time I call to get an appointment it’s at minimum of an hour and a half on hold! Completely unacceptable

Business response:

We appreciate the feedback and are very sorry for your long wait times. We are working to fix our phone issues.

Dr. Ahmed is a good doctor but his staff is terrible!! They never return phone calls. My mom has had severe pains in her head for the last week and the pain lasts between 10-20 seconds, many times an hour. She called last week, no call back. She called yesterday, no call back. They don’t even bother to answer their phones; only a recording. I don’t believe Dr. Ahmed even knows how terrible his staff is. They are short with answers, and rude when you are the office. People come to see a neurologist for issues with the brain e... read more

I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed for a few years. I wanted a second opinion. I went to Wash U and was so overly disappointed. Dr. Ahmed is so thoughtful and empathetic. When you are going to a Neurologist this is what you want. He listens and informs you of your choices and is so genuine .You are more than a warm body walking into a doctors. Wash U Dr. didn't even look at my records when I got there. Asked me why I was there; terrible for what I am going through, and then actually complained that she got such a complete record f... read more

The following are my opinions. Your experiences may differ. I found this provider to be somewhat unprepared. He seemed to go through the motions fairly quickly without adequate digging or investigating. I found him to be mediocre. I did find the office to be, at times, unprofessional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed for several years. We meant when I developed a mild but annoying neurological problem. Dr. Ahmed was remedied in a short period. Our relationship continued with a life-threatening neurological situation. Dr. Admed has always made me feel like one of the most critical patients in his practice. At this time, my medical condition is stable. I know my medical situation will worsen. I have complete faith in Dr. Ahmed.
