Would highly recommend Dr. Broussard. She was friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions.
He's horrible. Him and his staff left for hurricane and decided to be out over a month with no damages to the building at all or a phone call to let me know if my CT scan showed that I need surgery because break went all the way into joint or refer me to another surgeon in non storm affected areas. After over 2 months with a broken foot and ankle they finally called and told me that I didn't need surgery to which I replied I bet I don't now it's been this long and wanted me to come in and get a cast and x-ray lol no thanks! ... read more

He seems clueless on the treatment of my broken ankle. Out of several visits, I've seen him once. He passes patient care off to NP's, residents, and PA's while he stays on the computer in the hallway. He doesn't explain anything or give instructions on how to care for a fracture. Just keeps me in a boot and has his nurse tell me to go to urgent care for x-rays when I am slow to heal. I wasted months with him. I have found a competent doctor in another town.
This doctor had the worst bedside manor I have ever experienced. The service provided to me also included some condensending remarks. I was extremely saddened by the lack of care and empathy.
I was sent to an urgent care by my doctor because he said he could not work me in. I overheard Dr. Broussard talking with her staff about me in a derogatory way in the hallway. She accused me of just wanting pain pills even though she had never laid eyes on me, looked at my record, nor spoken with me. Totally unprofessional, rude. And probably violated HIPAA by discussing me within earshot of patients at the window. Never again.
