I went to see Dr. Wu because my pregnancy was inching toward late term and I was facing an induction. I received an acupuncture treatment to aid in cervical ripening, which began to progress in 24 hours after the treatment, and then I went into labor within 48 hours. I can’t say for certain if it was the acupuncture, but my labor was uncomplicated and the baby came out with ease. I most definitely think the acupuncture helped me avoid induction.
A friend referred me to Dr. Wu for acupuncture, and I've been super pleased with my experience. They are very professional and kind, the space is extremely clean, and they see you on time. Dr. Wu is amazing! He does pulse reading, asks questions, explains what he's doing and answers questions making you feel like a special patient. I really do feel like they care and they are never rushing to the next patient like most doctors.
There are two TCM practitioners at this clinic. Both are exceptional with Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. I am so thankful Dr. Wu and his wife are in Austin! I have referred friends and my partner for various ailments, including serious skin problems and kidney stones.
Dr Wu made me believe the effectiveness of acupuncture towards the human body. I went in with joint, back, rotator's cup pain etc., and a week or so later, pain and tightness starts to disappear. I had to keep going back for my sprained lower back and he did some amazing thing. V good couple who does a wonderful service. We even had to drive over an hour just to see them.
So glad I found this gem Dr. Wu has helped me a ridiculously amazing amount!! I receive care for back pain (previous injury, torn muscle), allergies and sinuses, overall balance and health, and nausea from overheating and light anxiety!!! I love each part of the process.
