Never I have been going to Dr. Starnes for some years now. I only seen him once since I have been taking my kids. I have been trying to find another physician due to how slow they are. You will have to wait 2 hours to be seen and I think thats sad. When you call, it's always "can you hold". I call for a appointment for my child, Connie told me they didn't have any available spots. I called back within the next few minutes with a change of voice, she gave me an appointment. I laughed. Connie is very unprofessional. Tamara the... read more

Horrible Experience!!!!! I had the most horrible experience with this clinic! It was like a night mare! Everytime you call to make an appointment they always answer the phone can you hold. I was always put on hold and my mother in law checked in to be seen for 30 minutes until they realized that they had skipped her. I took my daughter there since she was a newborn and til this day I have never seen the doctor. I don't know what kind of clinic operates without a doctor. I even left a message for the doctor to call me back be... read more

Worth the wait My three children have seen Dr. Starnes and the PAs for the past 8 years. The clinic is very busy but that is to be expected as not many clinics take medicaid anymore. I was impressed to hear from my son that Tamara took time out of her busy schedule to visit his school to talk to them about what she does. Last time I visited the clinic I asked about an ugly review I read on this site and they feel it was an ex disgruntled employee making up stuff to get back at them. That's what I figured since it sounded lik... read more

Doctor Tamara I am president of the local Mexican-American women's group. On many occasions I have been referred by other members to use Doctor Tamara at the Starnes Clinic. In December we attended quarterly event where all the surrounding women's groups gathered. During one of many topic about health care for children Doctor Tamara's name came up from members of the other Women's Groups and several people who use her praised her. I never had a reason to change my Doctor until I bought my children to see Doctor Tamara who is... read more

Slow It takes forever to get from the reception to the examining room. waits of up to 1 hour are common, My son has to come in once a month and the hour wait is the norm. One time it only took 30 minutes, though last weeks appointment had us waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes. Yes, I now time it.

Doc Actually there are no interns at the office they are all PA's and Including Dr. Starnes there are two doctors. They are actually changing locations early summer and adding another doctor to the staff to make it more convenient... less crowded, more parking, etc. They new office is very large, about three times the size of the one now. Not to mention the space is better utilized! I know... I'm his daughter! Hope everyone likes the new place!

Needs a little work, but overall good place. I like Dr. Starnes & his physians assistants because they are not trying to hurry hurry hurry when they do a check up!! That is very important because @ most Dr.s offices they just want to hurry & get u out of there. Very surprisingly I went there a few days ago & I was actually the only patient!! I have never been the only patient in there b4!! That is a miracle. I love u all Dr. Starnes & P.A. s .

Pediatrition This office is my sons pediatrician, he was sent to see Dr. Starnes but of all his check-ups he has never actually seen him, it has always been a intern! Of course the Interns are all really nice and I cant complain about that, my initial overview of the clinic was it was really crowded, the way they had it set up. Since his first time there though, they have remodeled and it is a lot better. Although i do think it was a bad decision to paint the whole clinic at one time, being a pediatricians clinic you would t... read more
