Dr Peugh was funny and friendly. Only 2 weeks from my first visit my surgery was done! He did a great job. Everyone involved the day of the surgery was welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Peugh.
I will never refer any human being to this surgeon. So many post-op complications. Terrible bedside manner to all his patients. Look elsewhere, trust me.
My wife had stomach surgery by him. At first he seemed ok but after a few visits we noticed he was passive aggressive. Shoulda listened to my gut. My wife comes screaming out of surgery and he REFUSED her any pain treatment after for HOURS! Wasn’t “hard to get ahold of”. He REFUSED to give her proper pain treatment AFTER SURGERY! Never been more upset with a doctor in my life. She suffered SO unnecessarily! The next day came in cursing, actually using profanity that nurses had the gall to miss spell his name! Dr. Peugh recently performed cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and inguinal hernia surgery on me. Both procedures were performed on the same day. Dr. Peugh is a highly skilled surgeon and I was very satisfied with the level of care I received from him beginning with my initial consultation all the way through surgery and recovery. Dr. Peugh treated me professionally and with compassion. He fully explained my condition, the procedures he would perform, and what I could expect post-op. Dr. Peugh was patient with me as I as... read more
The first visit wasn’t great because I ended up waiting forever to actually see him. There was a sign warning about that possibility, due to possible emergency room needs, but he was very personable and got to know me as a person, which was nice. The second visit was the surgery, which I was able to get right in after waiting only a few minutes. I went into the waiting room, got into a gown, and he came in and was able to get started quickly. Due to the nature of the surgery, I was awake through the whole thing. He got a lit... read more
Dr Peugh has done 2 surgeries for me and has been wonderful! I highly recommend him to anyone! My nurse sister who actually worked along side all the doctors in the operating room insisted he was the best surgeon for the job. That says a lot from someone on the inside. I agree.
He is the most unprofessional person I have ever had contact with. I would not recommend this human to anyone. Look elsewhere. He profiles patients.
Dr. Peugh is a great surgeon. He is very pragmatic and no nonsense.he has operated on me and my husband.
I went to Dr. Peugh to have part of my colon removed. An IHC stomach specialist had sent me there to have part of my colon removed because they were sure I had diverticulitis. When Dr. Peugh went in to do the surgery he found a tumor attached to my stomach that none of the tests I had in the hospital had discovered. On a hunch he left my colon intact and removed the tumor instead. He was right. I have been symptom free for 7 years now. I am forever grateful to him.
