Been going to Dr. Rowland for about 20 years, he a very fine and knowledgeable Doctor.
First off : The doctor is the best I have been to for a long time. The office help are professional and helpful. The office is clean and have a lot of space for chairs, not jammed up like some offices.
The doctor may be good, but if you cannot get through to him by phone, website, messages, and even other doctor offices, don’t go to this office! I have tried by phone, website, and having another doctor’s office try to follow up. The staff and means of communication are deplorable, to say the very least!!!
I'm new in the area and the Insurance recommended Dr Rowland. On the 1st visit I got a service with the (NP)Nurse Practitioner. After I was informed that the new Insurance will not cover the glucose meter and I will need to get a new one. On October 16th I went in person to the office with the list given by the insurance, . I've noticed a high turnover rate among the staff. They are all young, no older (i.e., experienced staff) among them. Most times when I call, after messages directing me to the website for information and making appointments, I get voice mail. Even though their message states the call will be returned "in a timely" manner, I didn't receive replies to two previous messages questioning a bill. Was a great practice for years until a few years ago when it became a typical high volume low quality money factory. Shame, I liked Dr. Rowland, he' was a good doc but it appears he's lost control of the office and the quality of the experience.
I have not seen this DR for 3 years because the front desk staff is very rude. I got a bill today with no explanation it just says misc balance with the date of 6/19/18. I have not been to the office since 2015 confirmed by the staff. They could give me no explanation for the bill and what it was other than I needed to pay it.
He is our family Dr. and he is excellent along with a great and caring staff. On time, professional, speaks clear english and warm. Be a pleasure to refer him to others and his location works out well!
