Poor communication from staff. Staff speaks Spanish in front of you when you are English speaking. Are you speaking Spanish because you don't want me to know what you are saying?The office manager was not willing to help me. After waiting for about 30 minutes I decided to walk out and never return. The physician might be great but the staff is the reason I am not returning. You have to have good communication skills, be empathetic and courteous. This office staff lacks. I guess that they do not realize that without patients ... read more
Excellent.....listens and cares
Dr. McManus is treating my husband and myself. He is very thorough and helps the patient understand the problem.
Although he is excellent, his staff is horrible.
Dr. McManus saved my life. Excellent bedside manner, and truly is looking out for the patient’s best interest. I highly recommend him.
He saved my life. I was apparently brought in flat lined.....and am here 4 weeks later back at work. I unfortunately do not recall meeting him due to the circustances....but owe him my life.
Dr McManus prescribes medications that earn him he most money, even if those are not good at all for his patients. The first time I saw him he prescribed for me a medication that I did not need, Lisinopril 5mg per day which was doubled after 3 months to 10 mg and doubled again 3 mos later to 20 mg. Every time it was like 'Oh, you are still alive? This will make you feel better'. Since I decided to stop taking that pill I have felt much better and, yes, I am still alive at 86. I just finished my first visit with Dr. McManus. I am impressed! He spent 1-on-1 time with me to discuss my complex cardiac issues. It was a give/take consultation where Dr. McManus presented his proposed treatment plan of action. In that plan we have secondary and tertiary options in mind to allow for unforeseen outcomes and changes in the disease process. In amazement, Dr. McManus was accepting of my input at every instance and contributed his knowledge in the furtherance of my concerns.Thanks
