Dr. Knauer quickly and efficiently diagnosed the source of my wife's vision loss and gave the appropriate and best recommendations for treatment in an efficient and easy to understand manner. I trust Dr. Knauer for all my family's vision needs. He has a wonderful demeanor and communicates well in common language that is very easy to comprehend. Despite a cataract on my eye and my detailed explanation that I spend a lot of time outside (in Florida); and my telling him of the disadvantages of glasses (fogging up, falling off when exercising and getting broken), this doctor sent me away with a prescription for eye glasses. I had to schedule and appointment with his colleague, Dr. Smithwick, who performed cataract surgery.
