If you are a patient of Dr. William Porter's, I urge you to read. You can only post 500 characters – totally inadequate to relay my experience. On 2-12-24, I was scheduled to have OUTPATIENT surgery with Dr. Porter. The next morning, I woke up intubated in the ICU and learned that Dr. Porter had “accidentally” cut the inner iliac blood vessel. Dr. P called in another surgeon, but neither could stop the bleeding. I was there for evaluation of urinary retention and urocele. He ordered medication for urge incontinence which I don’t have. I went elsewhere for a pessary placement which has worked very well.

if he recommends surgery, get a second opinion, He recommended an extensive surgery. I sought a second opinion, and the problem was solved easily in the second doctor's office. Plus one thing he said couldn't be done. The second doctor said it could and one thing he said was necessary. The second Dr. said was not.

My gynecologist referred me to Dr. Porter for repair of bladder prolapse and I trusted him. Had I known what bad reviews he had on Google I would not have wasted my or my husband's time. I am an hour away from his practice, busy traffic and my husband is disabled and had to drive me. From the minute he walked in the room I knew I had made a big mistake. I was rushed in and out. In January of 2018, I had some pretty extensive repair surgery with Dr. Porter. When I initially met him, I found him to be knowledgeable, but I wasn’t sure if we “connected”. Over the last several months of recovery and pre-op appointments, I can say, without reservation that he is a very caring, well intended physician that is not only one of the most well versed physicians I have seen, but I also consider him a friend that has my best interest at heart. Highly recommend Dr. Porter to anyone.

He done surgery on my prolaspe bladder and I been in a lot of pain . Today is the day before Fourth Of July and I been calling the office and can't get an answer finally I get an answer and she tell me to go to urgent clinic I fell like Dr.Porter has mess me up I hurt so very bad at the bottom of my stomach when I sit up if I lay flat it's not too bad , but if I sit up it's like someone stabbing me in my stomach and I been bleeding every day since the surgery two weeks ago Dr. Porter is arrogant

Dr. Porter was friendly, professional and spent time explaining my condition and options. He performed surgery to repair my prolapsed bladder. I highly recommend Dr. Porter.
