If you’re dealing with a neurological issue such as TBI or aneurysm, I would strongly recommend also consulting other neurology teams (e.g., University of Maryland or Johns Hopkins) to compare approaches. We found the approach at UMD Shock Trauma to be night and day compared to here. We felt that key questions were not clearly answered, and requests for additional imaging were declined without sufficient explanation. Extremely poor bedside manner treated parents of the patient with disrespect and disparagingly about the surgeon who performed the surgery who's the chief of neurosurgery. He didn't take our concerns seriously and didn't explain himself. He was very arrogant.

Very attentive and was very patient ! My brain surgery was successful and the scar is invisible!
