Going to what is supposed to be a professional to seek help with a small issue and being permanently blinded and lied to about the catastrophic outcome of the surgery because of the incompetence and negligence of the doctor you put your trust onto is the most disappointing thing you could ever experience in life. Wilfredo Lara is not a doctor, he is an abomination: not only is he incompetent and dangerous but he is unprofessional and unethical: after blinding me he lied straight to my face telling me the surgery had been a complete success when he was fully aware of the irreversible damage he had caused. Doctor Wilfredo Lara is the one responsible for ruining me: today I am completely blind from my right eye after he caused permanent damage to it. He knew he did not have enough experience to perform the surgery on my eye and he knew he would have put me a risk but he decided to do it anyway because he needed the money from my insurance company: he had to get married and buy a house so his priorities came before his patient’s well being. Dr. Wilfredo Lara is an excellent professional. I attend his medical office since 2014 for treatment of macular degeneration that I suffer. He has managed to stabilize my illness. He is very understanding, attentive and highly qualified. It has a great staff that make you feel like family. All are very attentive and dedicate time to patients especially Sandra, Mabel, etc.
Doctor Lara is synonymus of incompetence, lack of professionality and ignorance . When you see his name run the opposite direction if u don’t want to get blinded permanently. What makes it even worse is that he is also a compulsive lier who would not stop in front of anything for a profit. Terrible doctor and awful human being. Extremely disappointed by doctor Wilfredo Lara. Incompetent on every level. While performing surgery to my right eye,he perforated it and also caused a tear in the retina and leakage from the vitreous. What's even worse,he never disclosed that and lied to me stating that the surgery had been successful.
