Dr. Wakim is a very good doctor. Waiting time can be often long! But worth the wait! She is great at what she does! She goes above and beyond to help you with your issues… thank you
Love Dr. Wakim, Nurse Janice and reception. All fantastic. One suggestion that could make the experience even better would be to add signage encouraging men who are waiting with their partners to offer their seats to women, especially pregnant women, who may be standing.
I feel so grateful that Dr Wendy was my gynecologist during my pregnancy. It is my first baby and during my entire pregnancy appointments she listened to my concerns and answered all the queries. She do not rush patients and also make sure that the patients are comfortable. My delivery was done by Dr Emma, I am thankful to her as she delivered the baby very carefully and on time (baby pooped inside the womb). My delivery experience with Dr. Wakim was very traumatic. She was not present when I was ready to deliver, and the nurse pushed my baby back until she arrived. This delay caused stress to my baby, and he ended up in the NICU for 5 days. I felt unsupported and unsafe in her care.
Dr. Wendy McCuaig was Obgyn for both my daughters. She is a warm, affable and an experienced and competent doctor. Our second daughter (4 months old) had to be delivered a month earlier - Dr. McCuaig was able to diagnose from our ultrasounds that things were not going well. Immediately asked us to head to Grand River Hospital and thanks to her we were able to avoid any other outcomes.
