He treats any patient, addicts and non-addicts like dangerous junkies, never listens to patient input, is stubborn and never recognizes his wrong. He actually put me and my husband in danger and has been doing some shady things with insurance. His staff is horrible and that just reflects on the type of boss/doctor he is. Do not go, I wouldn't be surprised if this place shut down anytime soon given the turnover rate and his overall negligence.
I saw this guy for 4 years. I recently found out that he has been double billing my Private Insurance and Medicare. I believe that is called Medicare Fraud. He billed me for Family Sessions I never had, Blood work I never had, and addiction services that I never had-enough said. BEWARE!!
Thank you for being a Dr that understands the issues addicts face trying to overcome addiction issues. Dr Cai is a godsend in today's crazy healthcare market. He prescribes according to my tolerance and adheres to the strict buprenorphine policies but YOU WILL NOT BE KICKED OUT OF PROGRAM FOR ONE DIRTY U.A. Thank you wellbeing institute.
Dr. Cai met with me for one visit, then turned me over to a Physicians Assistant. I had been stable on my bipolar drugs for four years in another state, but he called them quite a cocktail, and wanted to change some of them. I spent a year with the PA, and they kept trying different meds. There's more, but I'm not comfortable describing the situations here. I did NOT have a good experience.
