For some five years or more now, I've suffered daily in the soles of both feet the searing pain caused by the condition called peripheral neuropathy, more specifically diagnosed by Timothy Wei via EMG analysis as "axonal polyneuropathy, Chronic, with no acute denervation," noted in Wei's own hand. I went to see the neurologist, Dr. Wei, this afternoon and he was amazing! He carefully identified the cause of my tight neck muscles and gave me some useful advice on how to relieve the tension of my neck. I was asking for electromyogram (EMG) and NCV tests. He told me he could do the tests for me, but wouldn’t help with identifying the cause of the muscle tightness. Dr. Wei is truly a kind-hearted and knowledgeable doctor who puts his patients first. I highly recommend him!!

Don't try to get anything done through the front office. Appointments can be months away.

I was a patient at Dr. Wei's practice, but never met with Dr. Wei. I received excellent care from my doctor. This review is about Dr. Wei's practice, East Bay Neurology. I have experienced nearly constant issues with the office. First, they will almost never answer the phone nor return calls. They will bill the wrong insurance and be unavailable to fix the issue. And if you complain online, they will threaten to DROP YOU AS A PATIENT instead of addressing your complaints. It's hard to find a neurologist but steer clear of Ea... read more
