Dr. Mkono is the most wonderful, sweetest, compassionate, intelligent and understanding doctor I have ever met. I felt like I was talking to a family member, she understood the family dynamic I was dealing with. She always took the time to make sure we understood what she was saying, what to watch for and next steps if necessary. She assisted me with proper communication for insurance coverage. Dr Mkono is a very proactive pulmonary doctor that her main concern is her family 1st and her patients also a very strong 1st place! Very caring Doctor and her staff is excellent, very responsive and most of all very patient!
Intelligence and caring The best dr I ever had
I love Dr Mkono! She is extremely knowledgeable and cares immensely about her patients. Her care and medication regime helps me from getting very sick.
I called requesting a asthma related medication to be filled, which my previous pulmonologist has been prescribing me for many years. Dr Mkono’s assistant stated that Dr Mkono said it is was an allergy medication and she could not prescribe it. In no way shape is it for allergies. I then asked the assistant to reach back out to her and ask for her to double check. The assistant stated she would get fired if she did that.
