Never ever again. He was dismissive, rude, unaccountable for his offices mistakes and has terrible bedside manner to the elderly patients. Switching doctors ASAP.
I have been seeing Dr. Werchan since October 2020. I currently see him twice a year for a neurological condition which I needed surgery; after changing insurance and needing to continue routine care. I did not read any reviews of him before seeing him. I understand how some of these reviews can be taken, but I truly trust this Doctor. He tells you exactly how it is. Having been seen by 2 other neurologists in the Austin area since moving here 9 years ago, I know competence when I see it. Dr. Werchan exhibited exceptional empathy for my concerns, never spoke to me in a condescending manner. He arranged for me to have testing through a program at UT for dementia assessment. My 3rd neurologist since arrival in Austin 9 years ago. With a family history of dementia coupled with troubling behaviors, I had become concerned about my likelihood of developing the disease.
