I have been seeing Dr. Dodard for 7 years and have never been impressed with him. I voiced concerns of a hormonal imbalance so his midwife had me do blood work. When I came in to go over the results he was more upset that his midwife had run tests to try and help me than he was about my concerns. He confirmed my imbalance, but offered no suggestions as to what I should do about it. Basically told me to deal with it. Has absolutely no bedside manner or compassion. Will be looking for a new OB.
Dr. Dodard is fantastic! His staff is so friendly and they treat you like family.
Dr. Dodard is amazing. He is kind and compassionate, and his staff are thoughtful and kind as well. I have had horrible experiences with other local OBGYNs and Dr. Dodard took the time to listen to me and problem-solve with me. He has helped me get my health back on track and also helped me deliver my first son. He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him.
Doctor Doddard is a kind, caring, compassionate and charismatic man. He does take the time to talk to you and to answer all your questions! The other employees are wonderful! The receptionist is outstanding and makes all appts with a pleasant demeanor. They all have a great sense of humor! I love my visits!
I was his patient for 7 years. I do NOT recommend him to anyone. In 2010 the ER discovered something through cat scan & said I have been diagnosed with teratoma. They suggested my ob gyn look into it so he did. He said the ER was wrong & I did not have teratoma. A few years later I went back to the ER for pain in my pelvic area. Another cat scan showed I had teratoma. Again he denied that I have it. March 2017 I had MRI. My regular dr contacted him. Turns out I do have teratoma this whole time!
The office staff are great and the service is meaningful, but the wait time is ungodly. I have spent several hours of time waiting for the doctors to see me.
Dr. Dodard has a terrible personality and if there were an issue, he would never know because he takes zero time with his patients. He will be extremely nice and helpful at your first exam so he can get a good review when he has you take a survey within his office, but from then on he will make you feel dumb for having concerns, if you can catch him while he is running out of the door, he may give you a quick, half answer. He should look into a profession where he doesn't deal with people.
Horrible. I would NOT recommend Dr Dodard to anyone, and had my insurance allowed me to go elsewhere, I certainly would have. He has the bedside manner of an angry porcupine. He never made me feel comfortable enough with him to ask questions or voice concerns. Worst of all, he botched my c-section. I just had to have a complete hysterectomy (this time done by a very kind and capable doctor) because of it, and I'm not even 30 years old. If I could give zero stars for his review, I would.
He is the best OB/GYN I have ever had for my care. He is honest, caring, considerate, very knowledgeable, and has an excellent bed side manner. I would never trust anyone else, he took a large amount of time with my care and was very caring and considerate with my aftercare and dealing with a very difficult issue.
