I just had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Myers this morning, referred to him by my excellent dental group, Dr. Nick and Seven Cakmes for tooth pain. Dr. Steven Cakmes appropriately put a cap on this tooth 2 years ago but warned me the tooth may continue to fracture. I saw Dr. Myers today for a consultation. He told me if the tooth continues to fracture, I would need to have the tooth extracted. Fortunately, he had a cancellation at 9 am so I ran an errand and returned to have a root canal done. I came to Dr. Myers office needing a root canal through a crown. My appointment time was 8 a.m., which took me 1 1/2 hours to get there. I arrived on time, and within 10 minutes I was in the chair getting an x-ray. Dr. Myers came in, introduced himself and explained the entire procedure to me. He began working on my tooth right away. Professional, knowledgeable and caring!
After I shared my experience of losing my teenager to a drug overdose. dr. Myers and his nurse blathered at length about their own negative family experiences with individuals suffering from substance use disorder, saying many things that were intensive and hurtful to me as the mother of an overdose victim, and then expressed at length their belief that “a relationship with Jesus” is the primary thing holding those suffering from addiction back from recovery. Dr Myers is a wonderful and compassionate provider. This was my first invasive dental experience and I was very anxious. Dr Myers and his staff were so understanding and made my experience very comfortable. My pain level was ZERO! I would highly recommend Dr Myers to anyone!
