Excellent, personable doctor who really cares about his patients as people and not just as someone who is "assigned to him" for surgery by the hospital i had a fracture of the neck of the femur as the result of a freak fall and was hospitalized. Dr. Fongue thought I was a good candidate for fracture repair rather than a hip replacement since hip joint itself was fine. He explained the surgical risks and potential long-term issues. Doing very well post-surgery after PT. No pain!
Dr. Fongue is thorough. My mother required both hip and elbow surgery and he prioritized and followed up to ensure her ability to undergo another surgery. Even after discharge, he asked his secretary to call us and reschedule the follow-up visit to an earlier date to check her progress while in rehab. What a lovely person!
Conducted a difficult arm surgery on me which other surgeons complimented when they saw it.

Dr. Fongue did an excellent job repairing my fiances tibilia fracture. He is an excellent surgeon an all around wonderful person.
