I was experiencing daily headaches for several months along with double vision when I look to the left. I saw Dr. Chiu. He kept talking over me, would not listen to what I was going through, asked me 4 different times if I was diabetic, which I repeatedly said no. Eye exam showed my eyes were healthy, he referred me for an MRI thinking it was Neurological. He never called me with results. After 2 weeks post MRI, I had to call the MRI facility myself and have my physician father explain the results.
Dr. Chiu is an extremely skilled and conscientious physician. His surgical skills are the best. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Chiu is great. He did my grandmother's cataract surgery. He may not have the warmest bedside manner, but do you want your doctor to act like the barista at Starbucks, making itchy small talk, or do you want him to be competent and tell you without sugarcoating things what is wrong with you? Do your research, get a second opinion if you want, but it is his job to diagnose and treat you. It is not his job to educate you or convince you to agree with him. Never ever ever ever ever use this doctor. He rushes. He lies. He is lazy. He absolutely sucks. Doesn’t want to do his job ever.
