Dr. Chiu is an extremely skilled and conscientious physician. His surgical skills are the best. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Chiu is great. He did my grandmother's cataract surgery. He may not have the warmest bedside manner, but do you want your doctor to act like the barista at Starbucks, making itchy small talk, or do you want him to be competent and tell you without sugarcoating things what is wrong with you? Do your research, get a second opinion if you want, but it is his job to diagnose and treat you. It is not his job to educate you or convince you to agree with him.
