I had an appointment with Dr. Herrera today and what a bad experience. The assistant began with soaking gauze with alcohol and cowering both sets of toes. This was fine and for the most part relaxing. You could see the toenails were inflamed and swollen up. In came the doctor. Never introduced himself just asked me if I were diabetic. Without explaining what the procedure was going to be he took off the gauze reached for the cutting/trimming pliers. My foot jumped when he clipped the toenail.
