dr Vela si a very nice doctor, very kind . . I strongly recomand him . .
A wonderful Doctor! Really restored my faith in doctors. He listens and pays attention to everything you have to say and never discredits you. I drive 45 minutes to see him from San Antonio now that I have moved out of Boerne but it is well worth it! His staff is a little lacking however... sometimes I have noticed you can be stuck on the line or stand infront of the desk forever. But it is well worth the wait to see Dr. Vela :)
Dr Vela is hands on one of the best doctors I've ever had. He is thorough, kind and very helpful. I followed him to Boerne from San Antonio when he moved his practice. I just wish there were more doctors like him!
I commute 90 minutes to see Dr. Vela; he is the best primary-care MD I have had. His specialist referrals have been outstanding.
What I am most impressed with is Dr. Vela's bedside manner, uncommon in many of today's doctors. I hope he never leaves Boerne.
I had a test run. They told me it would be 3 days for the results but we are on day 5 or 6. I have called them every day with no answers from them. They tell me they will have the doctor call me but I don't ever get the call.
Although he is busy, I never had to wait very long. I have been using Dr Vela for several years and find him and his parctice excellent!
He gets very busy and you can have a long wait, but once you see him, he is very attentive and understanding. He does not make you feel rushed.
We have never had a problem with Dr. Vela, We would let our own parents see him
