Worst Dr. in the Hill country. Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Went for physical never had blood pressure read but yet still had one listed on my paperwork ????? Used to be good now it is horrible . Switching Dr. Will never go there again.

First impression, Dr. Vela was very professional, personable, and easy to talk to. His staff could be more pleasant, especially the M.A. who roomed me. She nor the front desk gave off an inviting feeling. It is a good thing I don't need referrals to see specialists.
Dr. Vela's staff and partners are the best I have been to. I prefer Dr. Vela, he is a hands on Dr. Will talk with you about anything that might be bothering you. Takes time to know you as well as your problem. I think he is one of the best in this part of TEXAS. Thank you for beings my DR.
This is the best family Doctor in the Boerne, hill country area. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. Extremely professional.
I saw Dr Vela based of referal.First he was nice then he became very busy and in rush.He didn't have even time to see my previous tests to do evaluation of my problem he is simply very busy or schedule to many people in one day .Then he gave me antibiotic for my problem without refer me to urologistthis antibiotic had a lot of mgit was very much for me to handleand has side effects and when I called him at night to ask specific questions he was unpleasant rude and not helpful at all I don;t know why he had answering service ... read more

Absolutely the BEST Dr. you will find ANYWHERE. We've been going to him for almost 20 yrs, and now drive 2 1/2 hrs one way just to see him instead of changing doctors. He's THAT good! If we moved out of state, a Dr's appointment would simply have to involve a plane fare. Can't say enough great things. Very knowledgeable, never makes you feel rushed off regardless of how busy he is. Has the answers or will find them! He's never steered us wrong in all these years of our entire family going to him.
