She is rude and demeaning,don't dare ask questions or you will be told that she's the dr not you. Very angry nasty to staff.
I experienced a a diagnosis that was not confirmed by another cardiologist. I was informed that I required heart surgery and this was not confirmed. I was informed I had diminished heart capacity and this was also proven, through testing, to not be the case.
She goes beyond being helpful she is not only a excellent doctor but treats you like a friend.
I have been going to dr. savas since 1995. She treated me for a heart attack and has since kept track of my heart, I feel that she is responsible for me being alive yet today.
From our entire family, we thank Dr. Savas for everything she has done for us. If not for her, our Dad would not be here right now. She is the best doctor anyone can have. We will never forget the thoughtfulness she has shown towards our Dad and our entire family.
Dr. Savas is a wonderful, kind, loving, and extremely competent cardiologist. She kept my husband alive for another 8 years beyond what we expected. The most priceless gift she gave me was the last half hour of his life. Because she made sure he had a defibrillator put in, I was able to tell my husband how very much I love him in the last second of the last time the defibrillator brought him back to me. Sorry to hear that anyone ever had a bad experience. She is very professional and compassionate. She seems very realistice about the difficulty making necessary lifestyle changes, but conveys how serious it is. I have been to both her Southfield Office and Novi Office. The staff was professional and punctual. My stress test was a good experience and there was no testing without apparent reason, cause, or justification.
I came in with a pain in my shoulder area. Dr. Savas told me it was just an overworked muscle. Then she recommended a stress test. I am in excellent health and didn't need one, but after her staff checked with my insurance company and told me the test was totally covered, I went ahead with it. As I thought, I am in excellent health, which is great to know. Then I got a bill for over $1,200! I called her staff and said what happened to the test being totally covered?
