Very happy to have found Dr. Thornton . She is an excellent Dr. Who really cares about her patients. I highly recommend her.
Can't speak on Dr. Thorton because I didn't see her since I had to cancel my appointment. I did receive a bill for a $25 no show fee. I called and cancelled the day before and Melanie stated that they never received a call from me. I called to speak to the practice manager and I was told that they dont have one at the office. Apparently Melanie handles it all. No wonder she missed my voicemail. Asked to speak to Dr. Thorton since she is the buisness owner and was told she doesnt talk with patients. I have never been treated so badly by an MD. God complex and cocky. No compassion at all! I would not recommend this person to anyone. And she is very knowledgeable.. Just ask her, she will tell you.

I absolutely love Dr. Thornton and her staff. I have had many gynecologists here in Fayette County and also in Fulton County. She is the best, by far. She is genuine and real with her patients. I feel like she spends a lot of time talking with every single patient and meeting with them after exams in her office makes me feel like she is very thorough and caring. I absolutely love Dr. Thornton and her staff. I've only been her patient since May 2013. I was at P'tree City OB/GYN for years and had several issues and was treated as if I were just another person and they never really cared about my health but just issued prescriptions. Dr. Thornton was very attentive to my problems and helped to resolve my health issues. She performed my surgery at the end of May and I feel so much better. My first impressions are wonderfull! This OBGYN was very knowledgable and helpful. I really enjoyed my first visit and look forward to making her my primary OBGYN. Very responsive and prompt with lab results.
when you have to call in and ask them a favor like change your meds or if you need them to contact your ins for something, it seems you are putting them out. to remind you of the app they contact the pharmacy and not you and stop your meds. and because you didnt know you had to see them you left without meds until you make the appt.
Dr Thornton is wounderful.I would re commend her in a heartbeat. She will always be my Dr. She is a very caring Dr.
