She needs to retire now instead of november ,she doesnt listen to or care any more
I love Dr Duerr and have been a patient for 5 or 6 years, even tho I moved out of the area. I have never felt like she didn't take my concerns seriously. She's been great and I'm sad she is retiring.
I've been a long standing patient at this office, but recently it's gone way downhill. Their staff has always been rude and short with you. Ever since they had a management change it's only gotten worse. Dr. Duerr has, by far, the best "bed side manner" of any doctor I have met. She gives her undivided attention, really listens and never appears hurried. Her concern is genuine. I have read some of the other reviews submitted by a former patient. If Dr. Duerr declined to be this person's dr., she had a good reason. Being a patient for over 15 years, I have experienced nothing but courtesy and professionalism from the staff. Good people.
I have been a patient for around 17 years. They have been going down hill for the last 5 years or so. I have stayed with her because I trust her. That has recently been broken by messing up on both of my boys shot records, not recording things correctly, very rude desk staff (especially Carly). She refuses to fill my scripts for any psych drugs, even though I have to be on them until menopause just for pmdd, but gives my husband xanax and anxiety meds. I have finally had enough and am looking for a new doctor.
After 17 years of being with Dr. Duerr, she has allowed her office staff to decide I am no longer her patient. Her billing manager, Carly, Is the rudest, meanest, person, and is allowed to treat people horribly. She discharged me as a patient over an $80 bill, which I paid. Either Dr. Duerr isn't getting my messages, or she can't be bothered to return my call and tell me herself she no longer wants me as a patient.
When our family moved to the Village of Goodrich ten years ago, we were lucky to find Dr. Duerr. We have found her to be very professional, caring, and kind. Exemplifies what a "primary or family doctor" should be. Dr. Duerr will take the time to really listen. However, she has to work within the confines of insurance regulations, referrals, and so forth. I am one of Dr. Duerr's first patients and have been with her all the way. She is a very caring and attentative doctor. She listens and is always great about returning calls, etc. I wouldn't hestitate sending anyone to her. I value her very much!! Excellent doctor!!!
I have been going to doctor Duerr for many years, when I am sick I can get in right away, and no long waits ever, she sits and talks with me, she is not in a hurry ever, I am really surprised at a few of the remarks people made about her, this is not true, not what I know of her and the treatment of me and my family, the staff though, not very happy with the front desk girls.
