I'm Dibetic, my toe was infected, I was told he was Only. Doing a skin biopsy and a bone biopsy. that's all he was concerned about my toe Is still infected today. He told me he doesn't do troubleshooting.. So disappointing. Non concerned about my situation, just left me hanging.. unprofessional.
Dr. Gushchin and his team were amazing. Every person from check in to check out were wonderful. The pre op (thanks to Holly) was smooth and very fast. Mercy Hospital is the best hospital that I have been involved with. The entire surgery team from check in to post operation were knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I can not express my love for this hospital, Dr. Gushchin and team at the Oncology Surgical Center.
Dr. Vadim Gushchin and staff were extremely thorough, compassionate and caring. The doctor went the extra step to be assured that all possibilities were considered. Dr. Gushchin diagnosed a tumor on my left thigh and removed it. During surgery, I had afibulation issue and he coordinated with cardiologist to have investigated further. During my post surgery appointment, he took the time to explain the process with me. His follow up, during which he explained the biopsy reports, was very thorough, and I did not feel rushed or afraid. Dr Gushchin was recommended to my and I feel very lucky to have him as my surgeon. Communication and Compassion was excellent, and sometimes that’s hard to find in a Doctor. Everything was explained so I could understand and any questions i had were certainly answered. You can feel very confident to have him as your doctor.
