The doctor was there with me to explain a procedure I was considering and answer any questions that I would have. He explained the situation very clearly with me asking a few questions as we went along. He answered them immediately. I was referred to Dr. Javed by my GP, who was also his cardiologist. Throughout the past two years with Dr. Javed, I've had a mitral valve replacement, cardiomems implant, cardioversion, pacemaker implant, and placed in a comprehensive evaluation program at his recommendation (due to my advanced kidney failure). Dr. Usman Javed is an excellent surgeon. He has conducted three angiograms. I feel very confident and comfortable under his care. Recently he conducted two angiograms last summer. Each time he was outstanding! After these procedures he explained my condition and answered all my questions. He also referred me to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at St. Agnes's Medical Center.
